Entries are now open for the London to Brighton Classic Run and Kit & Sports Run, taking place on Sunday 3rd June, with the Classic Run celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Organiser Stephen Smith from GE Classic Motor Events said: “To reach our 30th anniversary is a fantastic achievement. It’s a testament to the growth of the classic market and enthusiasts’ passion for not just looking at their vehicles but getting them out on the road where they belong.”
One of the most popular attractions of the motoring calendar, the Classic Run expanded in 2000 to include kit, replica, and modern sports cars, as more and more motoring enthusiasts wanted to get involved.
As a result, over 400 crews will take part in the 2018 outing and a commemorative retro Monte Carlo style rally board has been commissioned to mark the occasion.
The entry fee in all classes of entry is £97.50 per crew of driver and navigator, with all run participants receiving a commemorative numbered rally board and sold brass rally plaque, a Tulip style route book, and a personalised certificate of entry.
The classic category is open to vehicles aged twenty-five years and over and there is no age limit for kit and sports cars.
The 2018 route will start from the stunning Greenwich Park, one of the finest Royal Parks and the home of the Meridien Line with the finish line at Madeira Drive next to the pier, which is also the location for the conclusion of the Veteran Car Run.
