We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by Peter McCree, Ambassador for the Bloodhound SSC land speed world record team, who will entertain and inform you with his presentation on the project. Places for this special evening are strictly limited and already filling fast! This special evening at Brooklands Museum, the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, will take place on Saturday 4th June, the day before this year's London to Brighton Classic and Kit & Sports car runs.
Come and join us for a two course dinner in the historic Blue Bird Room as we prepare for this year's runs which will be starting from the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World the following morning from 8.15 am.
Surround yourself in the history of the room which was once used by Sir Malcolm Campbell to create the plans for his world famous Bluebird racing car. The Blue Bird Room which is elegantly decorated with Sir Malcolm Campbell memorabilia, has great views overlooking the motoring village and is the perfect venue for dinner. The Bloodhound Project is a global engineering adventure, supported by worldwide engineering and energy companies using a 1000mph world land speed record to inspire the next generation to enjoy, explore and get involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics
Priority will be given to entrants on the run but we do have limited availability for additional guests to join us - so please book now if you would like to guarantee your place!
The cost of the evening is still only £46.50 per person and will include a choice of main meal with a classic pudding to finish. For those entrants already booked to join us at the Brooklands Spa Hotel the museum is a short walk away or we can organise a shuttle taxi service for a small additional cost.
