We are delighted to announce that this year's London to Brighton runs are now FULLY BOOKED! This year's demand has exceeded all expectations and it will be the biggest classic and kit & sports car run for a number of years.
There is still a chance to join in the fun on Madeira Drive in Brighton as we have a limited number of 'Vehicle Exhibitor' spaces available on the day, see our our sister company website at www.classicmotorshows.co.uk for details.
It is great to welcome so many new vehicles and their owners on the run and a big welcome to the younger drivers and owners with their first classic car or kit!
We spent another 2 days away from the office last week making our final checks on the routes and making sure that none of you get lost and all the road markings and junctions are correct (Yes, I know someone will find a mistake!)
Sadly the arches of Madeira Drive continue to be fenced off limiting the space we have available to park you all up but I am sure this will not spoil our fun on the day. You will once again be welcomed by our commentator Mr Keith Barry who is a regular M.C at many of the Brooklands Museum events and he loves to meet all of you as you arrive in Brighton, so please don't be shy and drive into the arena for a chat with him before you park up.
There are a few awards up for grabs on the day and our 'Best Dressed' caught the imagination of many entrants last year - so dress to impress in the period of your vehicle and you may walk away with an additional memento of the day.
We also have an award for the oldest vehicle to finish the run and have three 1920's vehicles entered so make sure you give them a wave on the day when overtaking.
A big 'THANK YOU' to our media partners this year This year's run is being supported by those very nice guys (and girls!) at Classic Motoring and Complete Kit Car Magazine and we hope they will be joining us on this year's run.
