CANCELLED FOR 2020
With great regret we are forced to cancel this year's London to Brighton runs. In the absence of any guidance or response on our updated Event Management Plans and risk assessments from some of our local authority partners we have no choice but to make this difficult decision.
If you are booked to join us and have not received our UPDATE email please contact the office urgently on
The 2020 Classic Car Run will be starting from Greenwich Park, our 2019 start venue for the very last time! A UNESCO World Heritage Site and location of the meridian line. The meridian line in Greenwich represents the Prime Meridian of the world, Longitude Zero (0° 0' 0"). Every place on the Earth is measured in terms of its angle east or west from this line. Participants will have time to explore this fantastic location before being waved off with the Union Flag. Follow your easy to use tulip style route book to your organised stopping point before making your way to Brighton.
This years stopping point, The Wings Museum is housed in a large hanger style building in Brantridge Lane situated between Balcombe & Handcross, Sussex. The museum is approximately 12,000 sq ft & the displays are broken down into dedicated subject areas. At the centre of the museum is a complete fuselage from a Douglas C-47 Skytrain which visitors can walk inside. This was used during the filming of the TV hit series Band of Brothers.
The finish line is on Madeira Drive in Brighton, where the Veteran Car runs ends, just next to the famous pier. In Brighton you will be welcomed by our commentator and have time to enjoy the rest of your day, with VIP reserved parking for all entrants. The day ends with a short awards ceremony to include best period dressed participants, longest distance traveled and a few other special awards on the day.
All production vehicles over 40 years old are eligible and last year our oldest car on the run was a 1915 Ford Model T, with a great selection of entries from the pre and post war era.
Entry fee is £110.00 for driver and navigator
All run participants receive:-
